The 5 Families and the Group of 5 Soloists
The 24 Anomalous Finites of the 5 Families, i. e. the Be Family, the Do Family, the Have Family, the Can Family, and the Will Family, as well as the 6th Group of 5 Soloists make the English Language dynamic.
They help, e. g. create all the English Tenses, the Passive vs Active distinction, Interrogative Sentences, Negative Sentences, Short Answers, Tag Questions, and Inversion, to name a few functions of Modern English.
They also give color and taste to the language by introducing Modality and the Hypothesis of Futurity.
